From The Other Side

This is the view of the small ravine I showed a couple of days ago, looking back from the other side of the bridge. I've been doing a lot of work in this area this fall, and will be developing it much more as part of the garden next spring, when some hydrangeas, hostas, rhododendrons and japanese maples will be going in. It's a nice, quiet spot, with a good view of the pond at the bottom end of the ravine.

Keep posting on the development of this project! Very enjoyable.

This winter, when the snow is blowing, I'll show more "garden" pictures. The trouble is, our garden is so leafy and the paths are so twisty-turny, that it's hard to get a picture that looks like anything more than a brush pile, unless you get close-ups of individual plants. There are np grand vistas here.

You don't need grand vistas when you have such evocative vignettes -beautiful!
