Aroids, Part X
A white Jack in the pulpit? Yes, and it's actually fairly easy to grow... it's Arisaema candidissimum, a small statured Jack with a high degree of refinement. The white spathe is faintly tinted with lilac pink. It is said to be fragrant, but my nose doesn't pick up anything; it's about the only thing this little gem lacks.

What an interesting looking white jack-in-the-pulpit! I just posted pictures of my jack-in-the-pulpits, including a white one, but on mine the spathe looks very different.
Shirley... your white jack is a very light or white form of the green native triphyllum. I'm more and more impressed by the variety and beauty of our native Jacks.
