Pinellia is closely related, and similar in flower, to jack in the pulpits. Pinellia tripartita 'Dragon Tails", has a long, erect spadix.

It looks like the Green Dragon. I found one in the back woods three years ago and it had a beautiful leaf canopy to it. I think my husband put a huge load of dirt on top of it because I haven't seen it since. Beautiful! what A find.
