Magnolia virginiana
So, what's the big deal with this picture, you say: three crummy leaves and a bunch of snow. Well, it's Magnolia virginiana 'Moonglow', with half of its leaves still on, after 13 below. You have to set your garden thrill level a little lower here than in Seattle.
