Ah, summertime; me and Liz on our newest garden bench, a gift from our nephew in Kansas.

My bench is one of my favorite garden spots. It is situated beneath 3 large sassafras trees near the edge of my veggie garden. It is shaded till late afternoon and is a great place to sit and read a book, watch the garden grow or just contemplate life.
