Cypripedium Gisela: I'd just shown this a few days ago, but it's fully open now, so a little better picture.

Your collection of Cyps amazes me, Don!! I used to grow lots of tropical orchids and am anxious to try some hardy terrestrials. Do you have a favorite source?
Josh,
I've gotten my cyps from a couple of different places; Gisela came from a place new to me, Hillside Nursery, in Mass.; they have a website. I'm VERY impressed by the plant they sent me, and they have both hybrids and native slippers that ARE I'm sure, greenhouse propagated. My yellow slippers (parviflorum),I related the history of earlier; I got my original plant twenty years ago from a friend, and it has gradually multiplied, so this spring had about twenty blooms.
