I've bought hellebores from all over the place... a couple of suggestions for quite reasonable, small hellebore starter plants: Park Seed Co. has them $8.95-9.95, and Collector's Nursery has them $6 (both have web sites you can order from). I've been growing them for about 5 years... for the first couple of years I only had a couple, but they're kind of addictive like popcorn, so this last year I added about a dozen. I'll show some more pictures, but as they have drooping flowers, they aren't the best subjects for photography.
