I agree, but I don't THINK I've got any delphiniums, but I do have lots of monkshoods, which to me look very similar (both in buttercup family). Time will tell.

I was going to suggest a Geranium spp. Some kind of cranesbill.

You can't tell from the picture, but the leaves seem a little too waxy and smooth for a geranium, but I admit, little cranesbill volunteers pop up everywhere here, especially in the paths where there's more sun. Dunno.
