Double snowdrop, Galanthus nivalis flore pleno... These opened about the last week of February. They are diminutive, being a double flowered form of the lesser snowdrop, G. nivalis, but cute as a button in the right spot. They are only about 4" high, so a nice little pocket to themselves, maybe with a rock to back them up is perfect. They bloom at the same time as Cyclamen coum and are sort of on the same size scale, so this fall I'm going to plant some double snowdrops right in back of one of the cyclamens, though cyclamens like it dry, and snowdrops like it moist... we'll see.
