Thank you for an informative post. How did you learn what you know about terrestial orchids? Books, societies, your best friend? I skimmed through Wild Orchids Across North America: A Botanical Travelogue by Philip E. Keenan, and got the impression that most of them live in difficult-to-replicate habitats. You make it sound easy!
