Brown... actually, the deer was stamping her hoof at the cat, which was why Sadie was mad (you can see the deer has her left front leg raised). The cats and the deer have an interesting relationship; every time the deer herd comes up to graze our grass in the evening, our little black & white cat shoots out the cat door, and gets right in the middle of them... strange to me.
