Dude. You don't have deer. I hate to say this, but you have pets.
I have never seen a deer lay down in a driveway before, mulch notwithstanding.

dang...I wish I had a nice big pile of mulch to rest on. Your deer have it made. Mine have tall grass and woods, but no mulch. LOL
The deer like to lay on the mulch pile, and watch me working in the garage... you think they're a mite tame? There are a couple of new fawns toddling around now, and they are sure cute (they'll be less cute when they are munching on my arborvitae, but I try and live and let live... they just lay their ears back when I yell at them).
