I think this is actually a hybrid of pleianthum X versipille, just coming up. The multiple flower buds (which will form reddish flowers that smell of carrion) can be seen. Like its pleianthum parent, this comes up very early and can be badly damaged by sub-freezing temps, so I cover it with a big pot if a freeze is forecast.
